there's only so much we can do
two person army of me and you
i pray each day
that i'll love you His way

high above in heavenly realms
our Lord Jesus reigns
He knows what's best
He'll lead us to everlasting rest

each day He leads,
i pray we'll follow
each day we're forgiven
may we share His grace

through tests and valleys
He is there for you and me
we fall and we stumble
with Him, we will not crumble

so i pray each day for you and me
to the One who created the stars and trees
i know our prayers are heard
He answers in glorius ways
