seasons

seasons gone by
the view changes every now and then
and i cherish every moment
that you spend with me
even if its for a few minutes
three hours or 15 days
anytime your with me
the view seems better

storms may come and snow might fall
but to me the scenery's always pretty
simply cause youre here with me
choppy waters and hail
wont give me frowns
not because we're in it together
but because Christ is the Lord
of the ups and downs

so whenever you feel im too far away
dont feel lonely or cry sad tears
enjoy what we have now
despite how little it seems
i'll do my best to bridge the gap
but trust in Him for the strength

tomorrow comes and the view changes
who knows what it might bring;
stormy weather or sunny skies
i know the view just got better
He's with us and you're with me
thank you for loving me

this season will go
its passing brings us one step closer
to a life together
i know it will never be easy
even if we dont go on forever
i'll look back and remember
how beautiful the view was
